"Love your neighbors as yourself"  Mat 22:39

Sharing in the Care and Concern Ministry's ongoing efforts in providing  prayer and comfort in the church community may be the answer to your spiritual calling.  We are contnuing the ministry of providing care related services in San Francisco, the Marins, the East Bay, and the Peninsula.  We need ongoing prayer support, visitation teams to reach the hospitalized, the shut-Ins and homebounds.  We need meal services for those who are hungry, fallen ill, or experiencing temporary emergencies. We need respite care: providing temporary relief to a caregiver in the home. In short, we strive to help keep members, friends, and visitors in touch with one another, the church, and the surrounding communities. You can become a part of this ministry.

For detailed information about how you might get started, please contact Elder Jack Taw, or the Rev. Dr. Noah Chen, 415-759-3700.

Jack was originally from Burma.  He joined fupcsf in 1998.  He lives in San Francisco with his wife, Susan and daughter, Stephanie.  Aside from leading the Care and Concern Ministry, Elder Taw is a regular tenor in the church's adult choir.
