Our ministry encourages the lay person to study, contemplate, and act on God's Word
in daily life. Our ongoing concern is in helping one another to grow into spiritual maturity and wellness
and live abundant and fruitful lives in Christ. Join our adult bible study groups and serve in the children's
Sunday school.

education@fupcsf.org. Ernie and his wife, Cathy, met and were married at First United Presbyterian Church. Ernie and his family have been members of the church for over 18 years. He is currently an active
Elder and serving as church Treasurer for the SF congregation. Originally from the Philippines, Cathy and Ernie now live in the East Bay with their children, Jeremy and Cydney.

Brothers and Sisters,
Please note our bible study schedule - Sundays 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.. There are three different curriculum for
you to choose from: 1) a basic theological course consisting of 27 lessons (in Taiwanese), 2) a course on the Westminster
Short Catechisms (in Taiwanese), and 3) a weekly topical study drawn from various issues presented in the bible and how they
pertain to our lives (in English).

Genesis, taught by Rev. Dr. Noah Chen. The English study group meets at 1:30 p.m. - currently studying from the
Book of Daniel, moderated by Elder Ernie Tan.
