Position Title: Assistant
Pastor
Mission Statement:
This position is created mainly out of the church's burden of ministering toAsian American, youth as well as adults in the church neighborhood and the Sunset
District in San Francisco. The candidate must have the same burden as the Church, and should be motivated to maintain cohesive
relations between the Chinese speaking congregation and the English speaking congregation. He must be able to work with the
church governing committee and the senior pastor regarding church policies and mission.
Desired Qualifications:
·
Graduate of seminary or divinity
school
·
Fluent in Taiwanese & Mandarin
·
Minimum one-year interim experience
·
Ability to interact with diversity
of cross-cultural and inter-generational groups
Responsibilities:
·
Assist the senior pastor in nurturing
and pastoral care
·
Provide spiritual development and
worship
·
Develop youth programs
·
Provide church leadership training.
