First United Presbyterian Church of San Francisco was first established in 1865 as a traditional Presbyterian English congregation. The church has a long history as a community church, ministering to the communities in the vicinity of its location. In the early 1950s, the church established its present location at 1740 Sloat Blvd., San Francisco. At this location, the English congregation was ministered by the pastorships of the late Rev. Bill Auld, and the Rev. Peter Yuen. Presently, the English ministry is led by the Rev. InHo Kim.

 

 

 

臺語 - 英語雙語崇拜，是由牧師 陳祥康博士 於 1979 年在舊金山第一聯合長老會建立。在教會建立的初期，主要是針對住在日落區及列治文區的臺灣人社區的靈性及文化上的需求，建立的初期，其事工的對象是來自臺灣的第一代移民家庭。但是在經過數年之後，教會陸續吸引了來自東亞其他國家的中國移民，包括了中國、新加坡、馬來西亞、菲律賓以及印尼等的國家。而在本地，教會的事工除了吸引了說閩南語的灣區移民外，也對說英語的居民開始了英語崇拜。在經過了廿七年的今天，臺語 - 英語雙語崇拜仍然使用臺語和英語兩種語言與所有的人共同崇拜主基督，提供所有尋求信仰及靈性上的引導、關懷及協談，並成為主內大家庭的一員。

 

 

普霖甘臺語 - 英語雙語崇拜，是由牧師 陳祥康博士 於 1981 年在加州普霖甘市 1500 Easton Drive 的長老教會建立。經過這些年來，普霖甘的崇拜已成長為該區域性的崇拜，但是仍保持為舊金山第一聯合長老會的分會，並且維持同樣的事工及團契目標。
